Therapy

Natchitoches Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides full time Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists. Some of the therapies offered are ultrasound, shortwave diathermy modalities for the patients – these services are enhancements to the standard therapy services.

Occupational Therapy focuses on Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) such as dressing, bathing, and transfers while

Speech therapy will focus on swallowing dysfunctions, speech, and cognition.

Our team can perform home evaluations at discharge of inpatient services to ease the transition back into the home. We also have outpatient services available which allows you to continue to work with the same therapists throughout your treatment.
